... so it's about time I went to work in a warmer place during the day. Rather than staying outside painting in the winter, I've found what will be a nice warm office near the river in the big smoke. The company is a bunch of people who fix things in big companies and governments mainly. I start on Monday morning. I've been talking to them every couple of weeks since mid April. I applied to them in early March, didn't hear for a while, then in late March I was up on a ladder fixing part of the roof when they called me to invite me to come in for an interview. I had just arranged to spend a while up in Alice Springs, so I agreed to meet them when I got back in mid April.
