Greetings fellow rellows,
I’m starting a new job on Monday (tomorrow). It’s time to get indoors now that the Melbourne winter has arrived. My painting sun tan can wait until warmer days before it gets another top-up. Poor Lynne has to keep chipping away at the work still needed on the windows and doors whenever the sun peeks through the clouds. Otherwise the front is starting to look very new and smart. Yes, yes, OK the brickwork still needs pointed, rendered and repainted, and we need new mortar under the roof tiles, but why rush things? Think of all the work we’ve done. The back looks nearly as good too. Really.

Think I might need to take up sailing again, now that I have a chance to save up for a wee boat! A boy’s still got to stay fit eh?
Anyway, better get off to bed. There’ll be no sleeping in tomorrow for me (as if there ever was).
