Another week in...

Well, another weekend over, and now it's Sunday dinner time. I've done a bit of cooking this weekend. I made my favourite dhal (recipe online) and also some really nice Chicken Noodle Soup (recipe in my head). No chemicals or stock cubes in sight. For Friday night, I made Porcini Mushroom Risotto and it wasn't at all bad. I find I'm maybe too interested in cooking when I should be studying. I have a minor assignment due on Wednesday. I also have a 2nd interview for a possible consulting job on the same day, with a bit of reading and thinking to do to prepare for it. Outside the house, we are mainly working on the front (west) wall now. The weather's been getting progressively cooler, dampening enthusiasm and the call of the outdoors. Maybe the contrast with being in Alice Springs recently was too much for me!
